Venue: The Real Deal Horseshoe
The Horseshoe hosts one of the most drunken anarchic games in Poker Joker history. Respect.
The Yellow Flag is in the zone. Full House, Flush, he had the lot. Like a duck he remains calm on the surface but is paddling like mad underneath. Coolness wins the day. Donates 20% of his winnings to the Table fund, the precedent has been set. Generous.
'Thats 10 quid for the table'
The Fox reaches the end game yet again. Her consistancy is frightening and she must surely be a favourite for a seat at the BIG ONE final table. No sabre rattling, just cunning moves.
Lex makes his debut at Poker Jokers. Calls time out midway through the game to go and rescue a damsel in distress. Heroics cannot disguise this poker guile and gamesmanship. More Lex Luther than poker superman. Credible third place.
The Professor rides his luck all night. Too many chips to count early on. Loses the lot as his flush draw is beaten the Flag. Loud, brash and trailor trash, his disruptive mind games and slow play contribute to a frustrating night. Ousts Fingers with a flush in an AQ (suited) AA showdown, leading to the quote of the night...
'Do I make you horny baby?!'
Candyman tries every tactic in the book, but the cards are well past their sell by date all night. Sneakily puts on his theme tune mid-game and the Jokers can't resist singing along and giving him a phsycological edge. Yet the cards remain quiet and he fades from the game, sugar free.
'Not even cheating would have helped!'
The Boy Plunger is a disgrace tonight. His play receives official censure by the Poker Joker board (3-1, I won one!) as he slow plays every hand and creates a ball of confusion. Directly responsible for the break down of law and order. Tactically flawed, he doesn't win a single hand all night. Points on the 'bored' for Grinder.
Real Deal can't exploit home advantage. The responsibility of playing host must surely have effected his game. As threatened, the Real Deal dished out the medicine. Discipline breaks down as the doctor caught the bug. His poker was terminally ill all night.
The DOG is acting peculiar. Tired, irritable and generally needing a lie down, more effected by the slow play and underhand mind games. A contender for the league title, she can't fetch the points and must surely have blown all chances of victory. Was something slipped in the DOGs bowl to bring on this drowsy display? Scandal?
The Exocet does what it says on the tin and self destucts at the poker table. Out early he goes for poker scorched earth by mixing up a selection of biological thingytails (special ingredients... chutney, yogurt... two new drinks are born... 'Man-juice' and ' the Muller').
The DOG is impressed ... 'I've never tasted anything like it in my life!'
Do we have our first suspect in the doping scandal (paid assasin)?
Fingers is shellshocked. Has waited two months for his chance and lasts just twenty minutes. Unbe-fu-ck-lievable. Can't face watching the game he gets his boxing gloves out and starts working out the pain on the pads. Totally elimated from league contention. Gambled all on the bullets, the Professor pulled a matrix.
'Phhhhhhhhhh... I'm going to be sick'
Thanks to the Fox and Real Deal for hosting.
We need to address the poker anarchy everyone, I am going to controversially suggest a set of etiquette rule, not mine, official casino rules.
The game was nearly unplayable last night...

Cheers Real Deal & Fox for a great night thingytails & poker & boxing. Was especially pleased with my 'dogs bed' in the corner...will be booking a similar set up at future games.
On the down side if you host again could you make sure that I'm not a sofa kid - the 3 amego's on the couch didn't get dealt a single decent hand all night...
